Holiday Arts Tour 2009

Join us November 6-8, 2009 for the North Central Louisiana Arts Council annual Holiday Arts Tour. During this weekend you will meet some of the most talented artists and musicians in the region. You will have the opportunity not only to meet many of our local artists but to also tour many of their studios. This is a unique opportunity to see where and how they create their work. Our remaining artists have elected to display their work in historic downtown Ruston locations.

The weekend will kick off on Friday evening with the Art Crawl, followed by a full-day tour on Saturday and Sunday. If you are from out of town, we recommend making this a get-away weekend. We have many new and newly remodeled hotels in town as well as some lovely Bed & Breakfast spots. Friday, November 6th

Art Crawl, 6-8pm
Enjoy live music, art and refreshments throughout the evening. This evening focuses on the historic downtown Ruston locations. Bring a sweater and enjoy an easy walk around our downtown area. Please note: The artists studios will not be open on Friday night.

Saturday, November 7th

Arts Tour Continues, 10-5
If you are able to spare just one day to enjoy the tour, today is the day! All artists studios and downtown locations will be open all day.

Sunday, November 8th

A Purely Studio Day, 10-5
So you're a purist at heart, you truly want to spend time with the artists and see their entire collections of work. Today is your day. Stop by Crescent City or Frothy Monkey for a fine morning coffee and then head out to the studios.
